1. Processing Time
Orders are processed and prepared for shipment within [1–3] business days of payment confirmation. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays.
Custom and commissioned pieces have separate timelines agreed upon at the time of commission. We will notify you when your commissioned piece is ready to ship.
You will receive a shipment confirmation with tracking information once your order has been handed to the carrier.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, and delivery address.
3. International Shipping
We ship internationally to most countries. International orders are shipped via [USPS First Class International / USPS Priority Mail International / UPS International].

International transit times are estimates and may be delayed by customs processing in the destination country. We have no control over customs clearance times.
4. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
International customers are solely responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, VAT, GST, and brokerage fees assessed by their country's customs authority upon import. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost and are not collected by us.
- Canada: Orders may be assessed GST/HST by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). Under CUSMA/USMCA, US-origin wood goods may qualify for reduced or zero duty rates, but taxes still apply.
- European Union: Orders over €150 are subject to EU customs duties. VAT applies to all orders.
- United Kingdom: Orders over £135 are subject to UK customs duties. UK VAT applies to all orders.
- Australia: Orders over AUD $1,000 may be subject to import duties and GST.
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing, and we cannot predict or guarantee the amount of any customs charges. If you have questions about duties in your country, please contact your local customs authority before ordering.
5. Wood Species & Export Compliance
All wood species used in our pieces are legally sourced and, to the best of our knowledge, compliant with US export regulations and CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) requirements. We do not use CITES Appendix I prohibited species. If you are ordering from a country with specific wood import restrictions, please verify compliance with your local authority before placing an order.
6. FTC Shipping Timeframe Compliance
In accordance with the FTC's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, we will ship your order within the timeframe stated at checkout, or within 30 days if no specific timeframe is stated. If we are unable to ship within the stated timeframe, we will notify you by email and give you the option to consent to a delay or cancel your order for a full refund.
7. Tracking & Delivery Confirmation
All domestic shipments include tracking. International shipments include tracking where available through the destination postal system. We will email you your tracking number once your order ships. Please note that tracking updates may be delayed once a package leaves US customs.
8. Lost or Undelivered Packages
If your tracking shows "delivered" but you have not received your package:
- Wait 2 business days — packages are sometimes marked delivered before physical arrival.
- Check with neighbors and your building's mailroom or front desk.
- Contact the carrier directly with your tracking number.
- If still unresolved after 5 business days, contact us and we will open an investigation with the carrier.
We are not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the buyer, or for packages marked as delivered by the carrier to the correct address. We will do our best to assist you, but we cannot guarantee replacement or refund for packages confirmed as delivered.
9. Packaging
Each piece is carefully packaged to survive shipping. We use [describe packaging: padded boxes, tissue paper, foam, etc.]. If your packaging appears damaged upon arrival, photograph it before opening and contact us immediately — see our Return Policy for shipping damage procedures.
