The Aperture
The workshop's core halogen-heat device
The Aperture
A halogen-heat device, hand-built from exotic wood and stainless steel.

Overview
The Aperture — a halogen-heated piece designed for clean, controlled vapor, capable of larger loads with a large thermal mass (borosilicate balls). Also, a 22mm Diffuser head compatible with a multitude of bowls. Each one is made to order from [primary wood species] and [secondary/accent woods], finished to bring out the figure of the wood.
The Aperture is also optionally capable, with the correct power source, of wireless usage (for a period of time). Using a magnetic power connection allows the Aperture to be easily disconnected from power and an easy reconnection to power.
How it works
A bare 20W halogen bulb provides the heat source, mounted in a stainless steel tube filled with borosilicate balls. Airpath is Stainless Steel.
